Black History STEAM Program
Students will engage in the Dr. George Washington Carver interactive science exhibit.
This is an interactive learning exhibit honoring the legacy of Dr. George Washington Carver as a farmer, artist, scientist, inventor, and teacher.
The interactive exhibit brings Dr. George Washington Carver to life with a microscope table to view plant samples, his inventions, games, books, and images of young GWC.
Honoring Black Farmers Ceremony
Farms To Grow, Inc. received a Special Congressional Recognition Certificate from Congresswoman Barbara Lee. US Representative for California's 13th District.
In addition to the ceremony we enjoyed conversations with the farmers, featured performances by Mr. Van hook and delicious Legacy Foods.
